Boo Santana

Boo Santana is the recording alias of Brayden Johnson, a producer, engineer, and rapper based in Boston, Massachusetts. Working at the intersection of melodic hip-hop, late-night R&B, and atmospheric rap, he builds records that feel less like singles and more like chapters — each one tied to a person, a place, or a promise he refuses to let go of. His catalog is short by design: three bodies of work, each a deliberate step forward in both craft and confession.

The journey opens with TAKE 5 (2024), a nine-track mixtape dedicated to Betty that introduced his instinct for restraint — short runtimes, warm keys, and hooks that linger long after the tape ends. 19 (2025) followed as a full-length statement dedicated to his father, thirteen tracks spanning street narratives, introspective interludes, and the breakout energy of "Benzo Boy Boo." In 2026 he released CAPELLA, an eight-track album dedicated to his mother, featuring collaborations with Blaze Jetson and a sharper, more cinematic sound anchored by "The Revolution" and "Obsession."

Beyond the music, Boo Santana approaches his work as an engineer first — precise, patient, and self-sufficient. This site serves as the official archive for that work: a place to stream every release, read every tracklist, and step into the world he is building, one chapter at a time.
